What brewing methods do you prefer?Personally, we love either a drip coffee machine or the French press. It completely depends on your lifestyle and how much time you want to devote to your coffee. Remember, the longer the water steeps through the coffee grounds, the more flavour is extracted (resulting in a richer flavour!).

What can I do with coffee to be more eco-friendly?What a great question! There are many things that can be done to reuse coffee. Instead of throwing your coffee grounds away after brewing, consider doing these things: Use them around your garden or in a compost bucket! The coffee grounds are rich with nitrogen and calcium, which are great for crops, grass, and soil. Feeling crafty? Use the coffee grounds as a scrub! The grounds act as a great exfoliant. Coffee grounds can be used as a natural bug repellent, making unwanted house guests stay away. It's also a great odor neutralizer and can be used in the laundry room, gym or work shoes, and other tight areas that hold onto smell.

What are some popular pairings with your coffee?Honestly, most people have said they haven’t had the need to add extra cream or sugar and if they have, it isn’t nearly the amount that they used to use. This is because fresh roasted coffee is more flavourful, less acidic, and less bitter than store-bought coffee. For more information, check out our page Why Fresh Roast.
